Hi

I am trying to model the bridging effects of fibers crossing the crack opening in a interface crack problem. These crossing fibers put traction on the crack surface and the traction depends nonlinearly on the crack opening. In order to model this traction on the crack surface I would like to be able to make a nonlinear displacement/force law in the x,y and z direction, respectively, without any dependency between the three displacement/force laws.

Does anyone know what can be done in Ansys to do this?

Thanks in advance

Regards Brian
