Dear all,

I am interested in analyzing the mechanical behaviour, both static and dynamic, of a internal permanent-magnet rotor.

Questions i have is:
1) how do i constraint the rotor model while applying global angular velocity loads?
2) how do i apply constraints on the magnet and rotor lamination boundary?

as a start, i am trying to analysis the deformation and stress due to centrifugal forces when the PM rotor rotates at a speed of 4800rpm, but without any success at the moment.

Any suggestions on reference materials/ideas is highly appreciated. Thank you!

regards,
