    Hi there,
    I am wondering whether there is any capability in ANSYS so that I can add an element to its library, and call this element from within ANSYS.

    Sure. ANSYS has user defined element capability in form of so-called UPF (User Programmable Features). Check the doc and/or ask your locai support.
