Hi Friends;
I have a pro-e assembly model of chassis. it contain approx 250 nos solid model. complete structure is joint with different types of weld like fillet, butt joint etc. I want to simulate these joints in ansys. Plz give me systamatic procedure for weld joint simulation. is it possible to check what are the stresses coming in welds. whether weld joint are sustainable or not? also want to some more answer refernce to ansys are below.
1) if engine compartment is there and cover is place on the engine. Can we check for how long cover will sustain heat ,generated by engine.( what are the data required for doing such kind of analysis.)
2)if speed (vehicle)and uneven surface defination for road we provide to system(ansys).Then is it possible to get the value of vibration comming on chassis? And how much time system(vehicle) will sustain these vibration for particular situation.
