Hey,
I am using Ansys 11.0 doing my thesis, i did modal analysis to extract eignvalue and i got 10 Mode shapes, i uused steel with parameter density ton/mm3 and yang's modulus in Mpa. I got reuslt freq, in Hz and maximum displacment and different nodes. I want to know the units of maximum displacement? i think it should be mm?Please reply me, here or on my e-mail id syedrizwanulhaq@hotmail.com

the output unit completely depends upon the unit of input value. you should use the value with correct unit for getting the correct result
your youngs modulus should be N/mm2 and density should be kg/mm3 for obtaining displacement in mm
